Phone App

at this time we have moved away from the traditional phone app

We have decided to stop development on a TrailHUB mobile app. While apps are nice in many situations, the majority of value that TrailHUB provides to customers is the ability to communicate trail data directly though their own websites, on digital signage, and via QR code links. We apologize to anyone that was looking forward to a TrailHUB app. That being said, we have made significant improvements to our API which enables TrailHUB data to be integrated directly into existing apps; if your organization has an app, we'd be happy to help you integrate your trail data!

Additionally, you can still install TrailHUB as an app-like feature directly to your phone’s home screen.

Simply add your TrailHUB account page right to your phone’s 'Home Screen' from the web browser.
An app-like icon will appear on your home screen.

Tap icon to access to your Trail Manager or Public User Account where you can mange and/or navigate your favorite trails.
Real-time mapping feature allows you to view your current location within a trail system.
Public users can still subscribe to trail systems and still receive notifications via email and/or SMS text by following these instructions.

Installation INSTRUCTIONS for iPhone and Android devices below.

iPhone iOS (Safari):

1.) On your iPhone, open the Safari web browser

2.) Type 'app.trailhub.org' into the navigation bar and log into your Trail Manager or Public User account

3.) At the bottom of your screen, tap the ‘Share’ button on the toolbar

4.) Tap ‘Add to Home Screen’

5.) An app-like icon for your trail system will appear on your home screen. Tap to access your trail system.

6.) Tap ‘navigation icon’ in upper right corner to allow phone access your location for navigation along the trails.

Android (Chrome):

1.) On your Android device, open the Google Chrome browser

2.) Type 'app.trailhub.org' into the navigation bar and log into your Trail Manager or Public User account

3.) Tap ‘Add to Homescreen’ pop-up at bottom of screen. If pop-up does not appear, tap ‘More Options’ menu in upper right corner of screen. (The three dots icon). Then select ‘Add to Homescreen’.

4.) Tap ‘Install’

5.) Tap ‘Add’

6.) An app-like icon for your trail system will appear on your home screen. Tap to access your trail system.

7.) Tap the ‘navigation icon’ in upper right corner to allow phone access your location for navigation along the trails.
