Updates Overview

Within the ‘Updates’ menu you will be able post and edit the following notifications to your Trail System or individual trails within your system:

  • Notices
    Create general notices and alerts

  • Surface Conditions
    Post conditions of trail surfaces

  • Snow Reports
    Update snow totals and conditions. Enter as much or little about recent snow totals as you like.


1.) Select ‘Updates’ button in the top navigation bar.

2.) Select ‘Post Update’ to open the ‘Create Update’ menu or select ‘Edit Update’ to edit an ‘Active Update

3.) If creating a new update, select the update you would like to make:

4.) Once an update is created, all ‘Active Updates’ will appear within the ‘Active Updates’ menu and can be EDITED or DELETED as needed by clicking the ‘Edit Update’ button within the Update Card

5.) You can ACCESS or EDIT ‘Expired Updates’ by clicking the ‘+ More Expired Updates’ button at the bottom

6.) Posted Updates will appear within your ‘Trails’ menu generalized at the the top if you did not attached it to specific trails, or on individual trail cards if you did attach the update to specific trails.

7.) If an update is attached to a specific trail, more details and a time stamp can be view regarding the update when you click into a specific trail card.
