Managing Multiple Trail Systems

There are two main reasons you might like to use the Multiple Trail System Feature.

  1. You are managing two or more completely different organizational trail systems within a network.

  2. You have numerous trails and offer a variety of different trail activities.

If you have numerous trails and offer a variety of different trail activities, this is a great feature that could help make it easier to navigate all your trails.

Some examples of how to organize your trail systems include organizing by season, activity, geography, or any other mix you can think of.

NOTE: The number of trails systems you will have access to will vary depending on your subscription plan. All accounts have access to at least two trail systems.

WHAT IS A TRAIL SYSTEM?:

A trail system is your list and map of trails, along with whatever activities you would like to assign to those trails (Mountain Biking, Hiking, Trail Running, Fat Biking, Nordic Skiing, etc...).

DECIDING ON THE NUMBER OF TRAIL SYSTEMS THAT WORK BEST FOR YOU:

When deciding on what number of trail systems would be best for your organization, think about:

  • the number of trail networks you are managing

  • the number of trails and activities you are managing

  • what would be easiest for your audience to navigate

All Trail Systems can be linked. Users can easily click into your related trail systems from your trail system information page.

You can also hide trail systems that are off season if you do not want users to see those trails during certain months.
